I am associate professor (docent) and deputy director for Lund Centre for the History of Knowledge (LUCK) at the Department of History, Lund University, Sweden. Since 2019, I have run a popular blog on academic writing (in Swedish).
I live together with my wife and three children in central Lund. Apart from family life, I am a voracious and possibly a little unorthodox reader (which I suppose shows in this blog). When I get the chance, I play the strategy card game Magic: the Gathering, which I – back in the days – used to be quite good at (see my moment of glory here). Late evenings, one can meet me jogging in the Lund city park listening to the Beach Boys or Jay-Z. Early mornings, one can meet me in the same park with a kid or two. Sometimes we watch trains.
